Jon Schorsch earned his Bachelor’s degree from Washington State University, the state’s largest land-grant university. The research activity at Washington State University is currently ranked among the highest in the nation, according to the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. The university also receives consistently high marks from U.S. News and World Report and numerous other collegiate assessment authorities.

Also known as “Wazzu” or WSU, Washington State University is located in Pullman, Washington in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Established as a public research institution, the university offers Bachelor’s, Master’s, doctoral, and professional degrees, along with a number of specialized certifications. Within these programs, students have the opportunity to choose from 200 different fields of study, which include chemistry, medicine, plant science, agriculture, communications, criminal justice, food science, chemical engineering, and animal science, among many others. In addition, WSU has established a number of branch campuses throughout the state in order to offer education to a greater number of students. Situated in Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Vancouver, Washington, these campuses focuses on bachelors and masters degree. And for students who require further learning options, Washington State University provides a wealth of online courses and academic programs through their WSU Online program. These courses continue to be utilized by students across the globe, creating further incentive for higher education and additional learning opportunities. On average, the University of Washington enrolls 21,000 undergraduates, 3,500 post-graduate, and 800 graduate students each year.
